UP SLIS commemorates 60th Anniversary in launching of Digital Exhibit

The UP School of Library and Information Studies celebrated its 60th Founding Anniversary on July 1, 2021. This milestone was greeted with a week-long activity, including the UP SLIS Digital Exhibit launching called UP SLIS@60.

To help launch the UP SLIS@60 Digital Exhibit, Archives and Records Management Faculty Members Prof. Nathan Isip and Prof. Iyra Buenrostro created a special episode of For The Record. The special episode talks about Records and Storytelling and includes a discussion on the history and development of the UP SLIS Coffee Table book. In the special episode, guests Prof. Johann Frederick Cabbab and Mr. Dridge Paul Reyes also talked about the importance of creating stories for organizations. Another special episode guest, Prof. Paul Jason Perez, discussed how such stories could be translated into the digital environment.
